Thy Kingdom Come

Between 25th May and 4th June, communities and churches around the world, including here at St Andrew's are gathering together to pray that their friends, families and neighbours come to know Jesus Christ.

Thy Kingdom Come began last year with an invitation from the Archbishops’ of Canterbury and York to the Church of England to pray.  This year it has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer.

During this special time we hope that:

  • We will all commit to pray with God’s world-wide family - as a church, individually or as a family;
  There are lots of resources available for individuals and families at the Thy Kingdom Come website
  • We will be empowered through prayer by the Holy Spirit, finding new confidence to be witnesses for Jesus Christ

Below is invitation from the Archbishop to take part.
