Electoral Roll

New Electoral Roll in 2019

2019 is the year that all churches in the Church of England draw up a new Electoral Roll starting from scratch.

Church of England governance processes are enshrined in the law of the land and the Electoral Roll is the legal register of all those who can vote for members of the PCC and Deanary Synod. The latter vote for the Diocesan and General Synod members. However even if that does not excite you, we would still like everyone who considers themselves to be part of the St Andrew's Church community to "put their hand up" to say so by being on the roll.

Everyone who wants to be on the new Roll will have to complete a new form, whether or not they were on the old one (2013-2018). This will take place during February and early March.

Everyone on the previous Electoral Roll will receive an invitation and form in the post in early February. Forms are also available in church and downloadable here.

If you have not previously done so, please also complete a "Keeping In Touch" form which gives us your consent for us to keep you informed with news and invitations. This is separate to the purposes of the Electoral Roll.

To be included on the initial new roll, please return forms to the church or parish office by Sunday 10th March 2019.Further forms after that will be added from late April after the formal processes have completed.

The Electoral Roll Officer for St Andrew's is  who will be pleased to answer any questions.
